I have edits, lots of edits, so I'm disappearing into the edit cave. I may be some time…
If you see me on Twitter or Facebook, give me a good kick and send me back to the cave.
The good thing about edits is that a fresh eye and mind on the manuscript can bring up all sorts of clever "wouldn't it be better if…" and "to add even more suspicion, you could do this…". I have an amazing editor and I love her ideas so I know the end result will be much stronger.
The bad thing about edits is that you have to put bum in chair and actually deal with the damn things. :)
In other news, this weekend saw the announcement of the EPIC eBook Awards 2013 winners. Silent Witness didn't win but the good news is that fellow Carina Press author Natalie Damschroder won her category with Acceptable Risks. She was up against very stiff competition, including two other Carina Press authors, and I'm really thrilled for her. Go, Natalie!
Right, I'm away to knock these pesky edits into shape. See you on the other side!
