Sorry, I was getting ideas above my station there. I'm sure Her Majesty recorded her Christmas message some time ago. The staff will be busy preparing the lunch and bathing the corgis, the palaces will be suitably decorated, and the presents will be expertly wrapped … I bet she'll sit back, put her feet up and watch herself on TV, the obligatory box of chocolates to hand.
Believe it or not, all is calm and bright at Chez Wells. The decorations are up, the presents are wrapped, there's no last-minute shopping to do - something of a rare occurrence this. All that remains is for me to wish you all a very merry Christmas. See you on the other side!
