I'm seriously beginning to think I have an allergy to blogs. Truly. Even when I remember that I haven't been near this blog for weeks, I can't find time to do anything about it. And I certainly can't think of anything interesting to say. I don't go near other blogs either. I tell myself I've caught up on people's news via Facebook or Twitter.
In writing news, Deadly Shadows is coming to a device near you on October 14. Yay, that's not far off now. Fatal Vengeance, the next Dylan Scott mystery, is almost off my desk (I know, I've been saying that for ages too.)
In other news, my football team is doing exceptionally well. Yes, folks, Burnley FC is top of league, our young striker has received a much-deserved England Under 21 call up, our manager has won the Manager of the Month award … where will it all end? (Ooh, the words 'death and 'kiss of' just sprang to mind.)
Two of my favourite TV series have finished. Yes, we've said goodbye to Dexter and Breaking Bad. Sad, sad times.
My clever little puppy (who is now a lanky 16-month-old) passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Silver Award. (We won't mention the fact that, when he had to walk along the street with a dozen other dogs and handlers, he wasn't even on the same planet as the rest of us. Still, he passed because the examiner said I controlled him well. Ha.)
So, yes, blogs and this allergy I have. Does anyone else feel the same? Are blogs dying a slow death? Do you still blog regularly? Do you still visit as many blogs as you used to? Has Twitter taken over? Are we all able to share our news in 140 characters or less? I'm curious.
